What I collect

Only what you send me. If you fill in a form on this site, I receive your name, email address, organization if you give one, and whatever you write in the message. If you subscribe to The Quiet Part, I receive your email address.

This site does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics.

Why I have it

To reply to you, to send you the newsletter if you asked for it, and to keep a record of enquiries. Nothing else.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this site, and reach me by email. Newsletter addresses are stored with the same provider. Neither the list nor any submission is sold, rented, or shared with anyone for marketing.

How long I keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are useful and then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link at the bottom of any issue.

Your choices

Ask me what I hold about you, and I will tell you.
Ask me to correct it or delete it, and I will.
Unsubscribe at any time, from any issue.
